PRACTICING WHAT WE PREACH
After 18 years as a clinical research professional, it recently dawned on me that I had never walked in the shoes of the people I am supposedly helping. With the fortune of excellent health, I have never scoured the clinicaltrials.gov website looking for a lifeline or an answer. But I know so many who have. So I gave myself a goal. I challenge you all to the same.
PARTICIPATE in a clinical trial.
If we want empathy, we must seek awareness. If we want credibility, we have to do the job. If we want improvement, we must seek the cause and the source. It’s no secret that the more we participate in clinical trials, the more tools we have to fight disease. It’s a shared responsibility.
